UK manufactured Security Seal Range Expanded – AGAIN

Talisman Security Products, the U.K.’s leading domestic manufacturer, and supplier of tamper evident security seals only recently invested in its UK manufacturing capability to produce the new Easiloc seal.

Hard on the heels of this Talisman Security Products are again pleased to announce the launch a new product.

The new Fixloc ‘Tear Off’ fixed length security seal has been designed to provide a top quality product with cost reductions for U.K. companies currently sourcing their products from re-sellers of overseas manufactured product.

The Fixloc also benefits from the tear off design feature and is available with a strap length of 250mm. Standard colours, already well established in the Talisman range, are red, blue, green and yellow. Of course other colours, to suit customer specific brand and needs, are available on request.

The main applications for this new product are sealing freight containers, vehicle doors, roll cages, fire doors and many other kinds of enclosures. The fixed length design ensures consistent application and avoids overtightening when required. It can be used alongside the pull tight Taliloc and Easiloc pull tight seals as well as any of the extensive Talisman Security Product range.

The standard Fixloc comes with a unique sequential serial number printed for identification and tracking purposes. Customisation of the colour and laser printing of the seal to your requirements can even include logos and barcodes. This also gives us the flexibility to respond to the unique demands and strong brand identification so important to many companies.

Graham Ward Talisman MD concludes ”The recent addition of two new core security seal products, Easiloc and Fixloc, to our established range of products manufactured in our U.K. facilities have been greeted with wide support. Being able to source U.K. manufactured high quality products that compete with low cost countries fits with an increasing desire and move to support British manufacturing”.

New Online Clinical Waste Tag Audit Trail System from Talisman Security Products

Talisman Security Products, the U.K’s market leading supplier and manufacturer of clinical waste seals, is pleased to announce the launch of their new online Clinical Audit Trail system.

Listening to many of our healthcare customers we discovered that current audit trail processes can be laborious. The many different systems used are typically complicated and outdated.

Bringing together years of experience in the clinical waste seal market and understanding the varying needs of our customers, Talisman have created this unique system in association with specialist software developers Pepperneck Ltd. which will easily and effectively provide audit trail management.

Talisman’s Clinical Audit Trail system is more than just a glorified spreadsheet. It is a bespoke online audit trail which can be accessed 24 hours a day from any location on any device with internet access. This is accessed via the Talisman website

Talisman’s Clinical Audit Trail system provides a comprehensive way to issue batches of clinical waste ties to a location and a quick way to track any issued serial number. It can handle the requirements of multiple users, and can also provide unlimited locations on one user account

The Clinical Audit Trail system has the added feature of letting the user know how many seals they have left as a prompt to place an order for more, therefore ensuring stocks are maintained.

Simplicity, quickness and ease of use was the core target during the design process, as providing an audit trail for clinical waste can become a timely and complex task.

The possibility of human error and breaking an audit trail is also significantly reduced.

Using this audit trail alongside our Taliloc Clinical Waste Seal range reduces the amount of stock being held on site and minimises the number of required stock lines down to 1.

This exciting new feature is free of charge to all Talisman customers and can become a streamlined part of your duty of care legislative requirements.

To learn more about how this system can improve your clinical waste audit trail, or to book a demonstration please contact or call 01684 584200.

The new Miniloc GP570N has a strap length of 175mm and a diameter of 1.3mm, so can pass through small sealing apertures, and is manufactured from nylon, which ensures optimum strength – the breaking strength of 12kgf is much higher than if manufactured in the more conventional polypropylene material.

The Miniloc GP570N includes a tag so two lines of text can be laser printed, i.e. customer identification and a serial number or customer identification and registration number.

If a stronger and longer meter seal is required, we still have our Meterloc seal, which combines the strength of a metal wire strap and a hard plastic locking housing.

March 2014

Talisman Security Products have launched the new, more extensive range of Taliloc pull tight seals. The popularity of the BT215 and BT265 has been such that we have had to invest in a new automated cell, which will produce the BT200, BT250 and BT300 additions.

February 2014

Talisman have introduced the new “Metloc” metal and plastic fixed length seal, which combines the strength of a metal strap with the versatility of a plastic locking housing.

Conventional metal fixed length seals have the serial number and other identification embossed, which means the serial number is not easy to read in poor light conditions, but, the new Metloc seal has a plastic locking head which is laser printed – this gives much better contrast and visibility and is more flexible, i.e. customer name and logo can be printed.

The locking head cover has two parts, one is white, and the other can be colour coded to suit customer requirements.
